APRIL

April 3^rd – Member Opening Day

2 BB of 4, full handicap

Blind Draw for partners

Join us in the Clubhouse post golf to see who your teammates

were and boast about the great shots

and commiserate all the missed shots.

April 10^th - Masters – Pick your Pro Event

Prior to teeing off on Saturday, draw a player playing at Augusta in The Masters.  Whatever his Saturday score is will be added to your Saturday net round. 

Want to hedge your bet? 

Enter a second time and draw an additional player.

April 11^th - Masters – Pick your Pro Event

Prior to teeing off on Sunday, draw a player playing at Augusta in The Masters.  Whatever his Sunday score is will be added to your Sunday net round.

April 17^th – “Yahtze”

Players with the most net 2’s, 3’s, 4’s & 5’s on their card will be winners. 

Special prizes for those players with the most consecutive 2’s & 3’s.

April 24^th – Odds and Evens

 4 players on a team, full handicap

1 Best Ball per team on Odd number holes

2 Best Balls per team on Even number holes

May 1^st – Opening Round Match Play

Members will be paired and flighted according to a blind draw format;

It is each player’s responsibility to play their next match

before each round’s deadline.

May 8^th – 1^st Round, The Titleist Stroke Play Championship

New for 2010

A 72 hole Gross and Net event.

Players will play 18 holes each month.  The combined total of all 4 rounds

will determine the 72-hole Champion in each division.

2^nd round is June 12^th, 3^rd round is July 24^th & the 4^th and final round is August 21^st. 

Day money also awarded for each round.

$50 entry will cover all 4 rounds.

Players will play 18 holes each month.  The combined total of all 4 rounds

will determine the 72-hole Champion in each division.

June 19^th – U.S.  Open - Pick Your Pro Event

Prior to teeing off on Saturday, draw a player playing at Pebble Beach in The U.S. Open.  Whatever his weekend score is will be added to your Saturday net round.  Want to hedge your bet?  Enter a second time and draw an additional player.

June 26^th – 2 Man Best Ball

 JULY

July 3^rd – “I’ll have mine Scrambled Please”

4 Players per Team, Scramble Handicap (formula)

Each team will be playing 2 – 2 man scramble balls.  On each hole the 2 best drives are determined.  The team then decides which of the other 2 players will play with each drive.  They then play both balls in a scramble format into the hole.  Both scores count on every hole.  The strategy is to determine which combo works best for upcoming shots on every hole. 

July 10^th – Beat The Pros

Ted Bishop our PGA Director of Golf and Frank Chieppa our PGA Head Golf Professional will each play golf with a group of Members.  Their Gross Best Ball will establish a target score.  Each Member will place a bet in the golf shop whether their Net score will BEAT the Pro’s target score.  Winners will double their money in Legend Loot and Losers will receive their bet at face value in Legends Loot.  Ties, well, remember it’s called

“BEAT the Pros”.

July 17^th – “The” Open Championship – Pick your Pro Event

Prior to teeing off on Saturday, draw a player playing at St. Andrews in The Open Championship.  Whatever his Saturday score is will be added to your Saturday net round.  Want to hedge your bet?  Enter a second time and draw an additional player.

July 24^th – 3rd  Round, The Titleist Stroke Play Championship

July 30^th – August 1st – The Legends of Indiana Annual MEMBER GUEST

August 7^th & 8^th – Club Championship

36 Hole Stroke Play Championship                        

Each player is competing in a Gross and Net Division

All players will play from the “Black” Tee markers  

Open only to Legend’s Members.

August 14^th – The PGA – Pick your Pro Event

Prior to teeing off on Saturday, draw a player playing at Whistling Straits in The PGA Championship.  Whatever his weekend score is will be added to your Saturday net round.  Want to hedge your bet?  Enter a second time and draw an additional player.

August 21^st – 4^th Round, The Titleist Stroke Play Championship

New for 2010

Final round of a 72 hole Gross and Net event.

Players will play 18 holes each month.  The combined total of all 4 rounds

will determine the 72-hole Champion in each division.

Day money awarded for this round along with a prize for the 72 holes.

August 28^th -  Member / Member Challenge Cup – 27 holes

2 players per Team, Full Handicap & Formula Handicap

Each nine will be a different format.

Modified Alternate Shot, Scramble, Best Ball.

Prizes for Overall and Individual Nines.

SEPTEMBER - OCTOBER

September 4^th & 5^th  – The Legends Cup

The Membership is divided into 2 Teams (North & South).  The North team is captained by Ted and Frank.  The South team is captained by Scott and Tony.  The format will be a Ryder Cup style event.  Don’t miss this exciting event.

September 11^th –  Afternoon Delight

36 Hole Net Event

18 holes on the Dye Course starting at 11 AM

18 holes on the Championship Course starting at 2 PM

2 player teams
