Golf Shop Assistant
Job Description: The Golf Shop assistant will be responsible for providing a high level of customer service to all customers at The Legends. The Shop Assistant will be responsible for independently operating the golf shop counter during their shift which involves:
- Answering the phone.
- Checking in guests in a prompt, professional manner.
- Communication effectively with the outside service staff.
- Keep a clean, tidy work area and make sure inventory is stocked.
- Computer Skills are a must – being able to manage a 27 Hole, electronic tee sheet is top priority.
- Executing detailed opening
Hours/Shifts: This is a seasonal position that will start March 1, 2021. The ideal candidate will be expected to work 35-45 hours per week and at least 1 weekend day. The Opening Shift goes from 6:30am – 2pm during summer hours (varies during spring and fall). The Closing Shift goes from 1:30pm-8:30pm during the summer (obviously varies with daylight). Out of a 5 day work week, the shop assistant will likely have 2 opening shifts and 3 closing shifts.
Salary/Pay: Pay depends on experience and will be discussed on an individual basis.
Dye Course/Par 3 and Driving Range Manager
Job Description: Responsible for the Driving Range and Par 3 Golf Course operation at The Legends Golf Club. Manager is accountable for the accuracy of record keeping, electronic tee sheets, monitoring of driving range hitters and par 3 course players, cleanliness of building, presentation of range tee, training and supervision of employees in this department.
Skills Needed: Manager must have basic PC and computer skills. Experience with some type of POS system is preferred. Must possess good communication and customer service skills. Manager must be organized and motivated to be a self-starter who can independently run this part of the golf operation.
Start/Finish Dates: Manager will start training in the main golf shop on March 1 and move to the Driving Range and Par 3 course around April 1. The position will finish October 31. Manager will have Monday and Thursday off. Projected schedule on the other days will be 11:30 am to 7:30 pm.
Salary/Pay: Pay depend on experience and will be discussed on an individual basis.
Other Seasonal Opportunities
Snack Bar Attendants: Primary Responsibilities include providing exceptional customer service and food service at our snack bar. These are seasonal positions with full-time and part-time positions available. The ideal candidates will be able to work either opening or closing shifts and be over 21 years of age.
Part-Time Golf Shop Attendant/Driving Range Attendants: This would be a part-time seasonal position perfect for a local high school or college student. Ideal candidates would be able to work the closing shift at either the golf shop or dye course building. Approximately 20 hours per week.
Outside Service Staff: Part Time and full time seasonal positions available. Job Responsibilities could include cart barn staff or golf course starter/rangers.
